EFT Supervision Groups
a variety of options for learning in small supportive groups
Co-facilitated Monthly Groups
These monthly online Supervision Groups are for therapists who want to deepen their understanding of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), develop confidence, share their work and questions in a supportive environment, and connect with other EFCT Therapists. We provide feedback and guidance based on each therapist’s skill level and needs. Focus is on assessment, enactments, and EFT Tango, as well as issues related to sex and intimacy, self of therapist, and other topics and questions that arise.
These groups are for any therapist studying and practicing EFCT, and therapists who are interested in integrating sex therapy, LGBTQ+ identities, and discussions of difference, power, and privilege into their EFT may find this group especially useful.
Both groups are co-led by EFT Certified Supervisors Marcy Reda, LCSW and Adam Eigner-Herrera, PhD, who each have experience providing individual and group supervision, as well as acting as Experiential Facilitators for the popular Beyond Core Skills course.
Groups limited to six participants. Cost is $100 / month, with an initial six month commitment. Participants must have completed a 4-day EFCT Externship and currently be working with couples.
TWO GROUP OPTIONS:
1st Thursday (monthly) 10:00 - 11:45 AM (MT)
2nd Thursday (monthly) 10:00 - 11:45 AM (MT)
I began my therapy career over 20 years ago, working with LGBTQ+ individuals and couples. I was thrilled to discover EFT in 2015. The accepting, attachment-based, and experiential modality is a powerful approach for both couples and individuals. I include issues of difference, power, and privilege in my work with both clients and supervisees, as these issues so often impact our sense of safety in the world and in our relationships.
— Marcy Reda, LCSW
Having come into psychology from the trauma/family violence direction 30 years ago, early on I got interested in what makes for positive relationships, and began studying couples communication and sex therapy. EFT was the link that deepened and made more effective both couples and sex therapy in creating more safety to work in these intimate areas. My practice now focuses on relationships, sexuality, diversity and supervision.
